May Recap :)

Hi there!

Happy first day of  the new month!
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter (with lots of chocolate and good weather :D ) and May. Even though it was ageees ago, one of my favourite chocolates this Easter (and daily snacks, I might mention) are mini eggs and I went a bit crazy and thought I should buy packets enough to fill up a glass lolly jar at home.
Yum :P Future cholesterol problems! Hope everyone had as much fun as that!
May, in Sydney, is the month at University that is the lead up to many many assessments and exams, hence the lack of posting. I did spend an awful lot of time on my campus, which is gorgeous and old fashioned and has a heritage listed abandoned orphanage/mental asylum on the river banks. Plus a whole bunch of students and cafes and stuff.

Pretty normal looking...

There is also some cool artsy stuff; this is a picture I took (well done) of this weird cylindrical tunnel art work things (no idea what they are...) that were sort of sat opposite this cafe/restaurant with HUGE boilers and rusty metal awnings and such.

Do let me know what these are if you know :)

In Sydney during May/June we also have this laser and light show, called Vivid, that happens on most nights in the city. I went for a friend's birthday on one of the first nights and it was suuuuuper crowded but it was very bright and shiny and had a nice glowing sort of vibe to it.

Opera House and Tall Ship.

My May was pretty unextraordinary, but I will be going to Japan in a few months for a unit at University! I'm planning to do a lot of travel bloggyness for that trip. I've never been to Japan so I'm very excited.
Hope you enjoyed this, and what's to come!
:)
